This is the bit that all players dread.....yes.....Fees and Subs.....it's a necessary evil of the female game....any sponsors out there who want to come in and give us a bit of your money, please have a look at this page and then you will see why we need you. If you are interested in becoming one of our benefactors and no matter how little you may think you have to offer, any donations are gratefully accepted and it all helps.

Until such time as an Al-Fayed Fairy Godmother (not the nicest of visions perhaps!) pops up with a bit of cash, all players must make their contribution to the club costs. As of yet the fees have not yet been decided upon for the 2004/2005 season, they will be put on this page as soon as the budgets and sponsorship for next season have been ascertained.

INITIATIVE
All players new and old, please remember that we will still continue to run our highly successful individual Player Sponsorship initiative. This has grown from 20 players sponsored in 2002/2003 to 36 players sponsored in 2003/2004.
In short, if either yourself or the club is able to find you a sponsor for the season, for £100 the name of your sponsor will appear on this website in the Player Sponsor section as well as in the Colchester Utd Men's Matchday Magazine. Although the club endeavour to get as many players as possible sponsored, each player should also make their own efforts to find themselves a sponsor. For the player this means that they do not pay a signing on fee as this is covered by the sponsorship, this is a big deal to the players so if you are interested read more about it in the Player Sponsor section.

In
return for your signing on fee which is payable by the
end of October, the club may provide you with a CULFC
Tracksuit and training kit, this will be confirmed during the pre-season once the budget has been set.
Any
player who feels that they are unable to meet these
costs should speak in confidence with Steve Downey as soon as possible, we do not want any player to feel they cannot play for us just because of cost, we are determined to make
sure that every player who wants to play can play.

KIT  The
kit for both the seniors and girls teams is provided and
laundered by the club each week. Each player is
responsible for returning all of their kit at the end of
