The under 10s couldn’t out muscle a stronger older and more physical Reading team who won the match. U10 coach Emma Wake has been working hard to toughen up the under 10s. The team stats showed they won twice as many tackles as the following week against Arsenal. However the girls are continuing to work hard at this through there goal setting and match stats. Player of the Match was C Byrant.
The under 12s Draw 3-3 with J Harvey, E Freeman and H Dennis scoring. Player of the Match went to H Dennis for the second week running.
The under 14s got their first win R Henderson and G Lindsell scoring their second goal in as many games. E Marsh scored a debut goal giving Colchester a deserved 3-1 win. Player of the Match went to Midfielder M Doyle.
Set pieces won the game on the U16s pitch. Colchester couldn’t cope with Readings superb corners that got them the 2 goals which won the game 2-0. Player of the Match was N Runnicles.
