Volunteer coaching and physiotherapy
opportunities
Colchester United Community Sports Trust is
looking for Volunteer coaches and matchday
physiotherapists to join the Female ‘Centre of
Excellence’ and Female Academy coaching team.
This is a great opportunity for a motivated and
committed person to gain some hands on
experience in the field of football, working
with professional coaches and elite players.
Colchester United Female ‘Centre of Excellence’
Play in the FA regional league every Saturday
against the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea and
Charlton. Training takes place on a Monday and
Thursday evening at the new Shrub End Facility.
The U19s Female Academy plays every Wednesday in
the AFA Academies League. The Female Academy is
based at Thurstable School (Tiptree) and gives
further education with professional coaching for
post 16 year old girls.

Monday nights 7pm till 9pm, Thursday 7pm till
9pm and Saturday mornings (Matchday)
Duties may include – Coaching warm ups, cool
down and coaching parts of sessions. Taking
stats and assisting on a ‘Centre of Excellence’
matchday
Colchester United U19 Female Academy -
assistant coach
Wednesday afternoons - matchdays home kick offs
3pm, Away kick offs vary travel provided.
Duties may include – Coaching warm ups, cool
down and coaching parts of sessions. Taking
stats and assisting on an Academy matchday
Colchester United Female ‘Centre of
Excellence’ matchday physiotherapists
Saturday mornings all kick off 10.30am (travel
provided for away games)
Duties may include - Assessment and Treatment to
injuries sustained during matches.
All Volunteers are subject to clearance from CRB.
