The Colchester United Ladies Football Club is part of the Colchester
United Community Sports Trust, which had been involved in girls
football for many years. The Female 'Centre of Excellence'and
the 'Female Academy' are part of the CUCST
'Girls Football Development' programme Both strive to provide
an outstanding football development programme for talented young
female players, incorporating a technical coaching programme, extensive
fixture programme, structured fitness programme and detailed monitoring
mechanisms. This programme nurtures talent from aged 4 up to age
19.

The team of qualified coaches are both experts
in the field of coaching and empathetic towards
the individual and collective development of the
players. This has been a large part of our
previous success in producing six international
players and now establishing the Colchester
United Female Football Academy, providing post
16 developmental opportunities for our talented
